Varun Beverages Limited — Important, 19-05-2025: General Updates

Varun Beverages Limited has announced a board meeting to consider acquiring a 50% stake in Everest Industrial Lanka for USD 3.75 million (INR 32.09 Cr). EIL produces and sells commercial visi-coolers in Sri Lanka with revenues of USD 1.74 million in FY24. The acquisition aims to internalize visi-cooler sourcing, enhancing supply chain control and reducing costs for VBL’s beverage business.
