Q4 EBITDA improved to Rs 129 Mn with a 7% margin, while FY25 EBITDA declined 11% YoY to Rs 375 Mn due to inflationary pressures. Consumer segment revenue (Prestige & Above) jumped 186% YoY to Rs 1,293 Mn, and Regular & Others segment grew by 17% in sales volume, generating Rs 8,643 Mn. Manufacturing utilization rose to 81% in Q4, driven by stronger ethanol and ENA sales, with EBITDA per litre improving to Rs 6. Balance sheet shows net worth of Rs 9,947 Mn and increased borrowings of Rs 203 Cr supporting capex and working capital.

2. Strategic Initiatives & Growth Drivers:

The company launched 7 new brands in FY25, entering single malt whisky and beer categories. A new 34 Mn litre distillery in Uttar Pradesh (Rs 115 Cr capex) is targeted for Q3FY26, alongside a commissioned malt maturation plant in Rajasthan. Focus remains on maize-based ethanol and securing raw material supply to enhance margins. Price hikes in key states aim to counter inflation and sustain profitability.

3. Business Developments:

Globus began commercial production of Carib Premium Strong Beer in UP through its JV with ANSA McAL. The portfolio continues to broaden with offerings across whisky, gin, vodka, rum, RTD, and craft spirits, with brands like Dōaab Single Malt and Terai Dry Gin receiving international awards.

4. Market Position & Competitive Advantage:

With five plants totaling 301 Mn litre capacity and presence across multiple price bands and states, Globus benefits from scale and diversified reach. Strong backward integration in UP and brand strength in Rajasthan bolster its position in value and premium segments. Innovation in craft and premium spirits adds differentiation.

5. Investor Implications:

Globus presents positive growth potential driven by premiumization, capacity addition, and efficiency gains. Key risks include inflation impact and capacity utilization fluctuations, but strategic pricing and new launches support margin recovery. Expansion into craft whisky and beer offer further long-term upside for investors.
