Gujarat State Fertilizers & Chemicals Limited has announced a board meeting on which it approved the financial results for the quarter and half-year. Consolidated revenues jumped to Rs 9,848.64 Cr, with profit before tax rising to Rs 756.27 Cr from Rs 703.79 Cr last year. Net profit after tax climbed to Rs 591.16 Cr. The Board proposed a robust dividend of Rs 5 per share (250% on Rs 2 face value). They also renewed contracts with K.C. Mehta & Co. LLP and others as internal auditors for two years to boost governance.
