REC Limited — Important, 20-05-2025: General Updates

REC has announced a board meeting to approve the financial results for the quarter and half-year. It has incorporated Mekhali Power Transmission Limited, a wholly owned subsidiary, to develop a 400 KV substation and transmission lines in Belagavi, Karnataka. This expands REC’s transmission infrastructure presence, leveraging its subsidiary’s role as Bid Process Coordinator. The new company and its assets will be transferred to the successful bidder after project selection, consolidating REC’s involvement in the project execution phase.
