GMR Power & Urban Infra has announced a board meeting to consider the financial results for the quarter and half-year. The company settled INR 657 crore in a One-Time Settlement with lenders of GMR Rajahmundry Energy, improving its balance sheet. It also agreed to divest stakes in Bajoli Holi, Vemagiri, and Rajahmundry power assets for INR 653 crore, shedding stressed assets. Thermal plants Warora and Kamalanga delivered strong PLFs of 93% and 92%. Ambala Chandigarh highway traffic grew 31% YoY. Smart metering installations reached ~8.98 lakh, nearing operational start.
