Archies Limited — Results, 21-05-2025: Reply to Clarification- Financial results

Archies Limited has announced a board meeting on 14 February 2025 to approve the financial results for the quarter and half-year ended 31 December 2024.

For the quarter, total income reached ₹2,079.62 lakh, driven by ₹1,782.10 lakh from operations and ₹297.53 lakh from other income. Total expenses were ₹2,062.81 lakh, with material costs at ₹287.0 lakh, employee benefits ₹414.7 lakh, and finance costs notably high at ₹123.6 lakh. Depreciation and other expenses also contributed significantly.

The company posted a net profit of ₹2.83 lakh for the quarter, a turnaround from a ₹35.86 lakh loss over six months. EPS stood at ₹0.01 for the quarter versus a loss of ₹0.11 for the half-year.

Segment-wise, stationery and paper bags led revenue at ₹870.52 lakh, followed by gifts at ₹678.93 lakh, and greeting cards at ₹172.63 lakh. Profit before interest and tax was strongest in stationery and paper bags (₹89.5 lakh), then gifts (₹65.9 lakh), and greeting cards (₹39.9 lakh).

Finance costs continue to weigh on profitability. The company maintains unallocable assets of ₹19,946.34 lakh against liabilities of ₹6,820.21 lakh.

Archies corrected its EPS figure from ₹0.1 to ₹0.01 to align with accounting standards. The results are unaudited but audit committee reviewed.
