Ircon International Limited has announced a board meeting on 26th June, 2025 to consider the financial results for the quarter and half-year.

For the year ended March 2025, consolidated revenue stood at ₹11,131 Cr, down 13.4% YoY, primarily driven by domestic operations contributing ₹10,420 Cr and international business at ₹339 Cr. Interest income of ₹309 Cr was part of other income.

Net profit declined 15% YoY to ₹738 Cr, with EPS at ₹7.84 versus ₹9.17 last year. Margin pressure came from the lower top line, but cost optimization—particularly in employee and project expenses—helped maintain profitability.

Operational costs fell in line with revenues, with total expenses at ₹9,760 Cr compared to ₹11,232 Cr previously. Employee benefits decreased slightly while project expenses tracked the revenue dip. Finance costs remained steady.

EBITDA margin softened to 9% from over 10%, with the domestic segment delivering over 90% of operating profit. International contributions remained modest.

The balance sheet is robust, with net worth rising to ₹6,237 Cr and cash balances improving slightly to ₹1,980 Cr. Debt levels stayed stable, and capex was moderate, supporting ongoing projects.

Management highlighted ongoing asset monetization and JV closures to boost capital efficiency. A final dividend of ₹1 per share is proposed, following an interim dividend of ₹1.65.

Despite a slowdown in revenue growth and margin compression amid macro headwinds, Ircon’s strong balance sheet and disciplined cost controls suggest stable momentum. Retail investors looking for government-backed infrastructure exposure may find this a steady play—watch for quarterly updates after the board meeting.
