Borosil Scientific has announced a board meeting to approve the financial results for the quarter and half-year. Standalone revenue rose to Rs. 392.49 Cr from Rs. 356.46 Cr, with profit before tax at Rs. 48.32 Cr versus Rs. 39.99 Cr last year. The scientific segment is the key growth driver, while the glassware segment, though still loss-making, shows improvement. Consolidated revenue reached Rs. 438.49 Cr with profit before tax at Rs. 40.39 Cr. The company plans to raise up to Rs. 250 Cr via equity/debt to fuel expansion. A Voluntary Retirement Scheme at the Nashik plant is underway.
