IndusInd Bank has announced a board meeting on May 21, 2025, approving the audited consolidated financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2025. The bank reported a robust net profit of Rs. 8977.30 crore, sharply up from Rs. 709.45 crore last year, with total income reaching Rs. 83,398 crore. However, significant accounting adjustments on internal trades and derivatives led to a prior period write-off of Rs. 1959.98 crore. Provisions rose due to revised interest and fee income classifications. To conserve capital, no dividend was declared. The bank is enhancing controls and accountability to prevent future issues.
