Som Distilleries and Breweries has announced a ₹600 Cr greenfield project in Farrukhabad, UP, under its subsidiary Woodpecker Greenagri Nutrients. The new integrated facility will include a brewery, distillery, and advanced manufacturing units, with a bottling capacity of over 12 million beer cases annually. Designed with ESG principles like Zero Liquid Discharge, it aims to enhance local sourcing, create 700-800 jobs, and expand SDBL’s footprint across India’s alcoholic beverages market.
