NTPC Green Energy Limited has secured an 80MW/320MWh Battery Energy Storage System project in Kerala, comprising two 40MW/160MWh units at Pothencode and Sreekantapuram substations. The tariffs are Rs 4.57 lakh/MW/month and Rs 4.34 lakh/MW/month respectively. This project enhances NGEL’s position in the energy storage sector, aiding grid stability and renewable integration in the region. Letter of award is pending.
