Sun Pharma has announced a board meeting that approved the audited standalone and consolidated financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2025, with clean audits. The Board proposed a final dividend of Rs. 5.50 per share, bringing total FY25 dividends to Rs. 16 per share, up from Rs. 13.50 last year. Ms. Vidhi Shanghvi was appointed Whole-time Director, while Mr. Sudhir Valia will retire by rotation and not seek reappointment. M/s. KJB & CO LLP were appointed Secretarial Auditors for five years, subject to approval.
Q4FY25 consolidated gross sales rose 8.5% YoY to Rs. 12,816 Cr, EBITDA increased 22.4% to Rs. 3,716 Cr with a 28.7% margin, and adjusted net profit grew 4.8% to Rs. 2,889 Cr. For FY25, gross sales were Rs. 52,041 Cr (up 9%), EBITDA Rs. 15,272 Cr (up 17.3%, 29% margin), and adjusted net profit Rs. 11,984 Cr (up 19%). India formulations sales grew 13.7% to Rs. 16,923 Cr, with market share at 8.3%. US formulations rose 3.6% to US$1.92 billion, though Q4 sales dipped 2.5% to US$464 million. Global Specialty sales increased 17.1% to US$1.22 billion, making up 20% of total sales. Emerging Markets and Rest of World formulations grew 7% and 4.5%, respectively; external API sales rose 11%.
R&D spend was Rs. 325 Cr (~6.2% of sales), supporting 8 novel specialty drugs in clinical stages and 542 approved US ANDAs with 117 pending. A recent US court ruling lifted the injunction on LEQSELVI™, enabling commercial launch. Acquisitions of Taro Pharma and Antibe Therapeutics strengthen the specialty segment. The Board approved holding the 33rd AGM via videoconference.
