Universal Cables Limited — Board Meeting, 22-05-2025: Outcome of Board Meeting

Universal Cables has announced a board meeting on 22nd May 2025 and approved the financial results for the quarter and half-year. Consolidated net profit for the year rose to Rs. 89.39 Cr, with revenue up 19% YoY to Rs. 2408.39 Cr. Quarterly profit increased to Rs. 49.69 Cr from Rs. 48.57 Cr last year. Capacity utilization hit 90%, backed by Rs. 126.31 Cr capex aimed at expanding production across voltage grades. Exports doubled to Rs. 209.02 Cr, driven by strong orders close to Rs. 3000 Cr. A Rs. 4/share dividend has been proposed. New secretarial and internal auditors were appointed.
