Universal Cables has announced a board meeting on 22nd May 2025 where it approved the financial results for the quarter and half-year ended March 31, 2025. The company reported standalone revenue of Rs. 674.03 Cr in Q4, up 16% YoY, with net profit of Rs. 27.01 Cr, a 4% rise YoY. For FY 2024-25, standalone revenue grew 19% to Rs. 2408.39 Cr, and net profit increased 6% to Rs. 57.28 Cr. Consolidated net profit was Rs. 89.39 Cr. Capacity utilization reached ~90%, supported by Rs. 126.31 Cr invested in expansion, with Rs. 505 Cr planned next year. Export revenue more than doubled to Rs. 209.02 Cr, and the order book neared Rs. 3,000 Cr, driven by EHV cable and capacitor projects. Dividend of Rs. 4 per share was approved. New secretarial and internal auditors were appointed.
