Kirloskar Industries has initiated the transfer of equity shares to the Investor Education and Protection Fund for shareholders with unclaimed dividends since 2017-18, notifying affected investors individually and providing verification details online. Shareholders can recover dividends and shares from the fund by following the prescribed process before the deadline, after which shares transfer ownership and the company is released from liability. Additionally, the company is updating KYC for physical shareholders and launched ‘SWAYAM,’ a new investor self-service portal to simplify access to services.
