Western Carriers (India) Limited reported FY25 revenue of INR1,726 Cr, up 2.4% YoY, led by a 31% rise in domestic volumes offsetting a 12% drop in EXIM volumes. EBITDA was INR120 Cr (7% margin) and PAT INR65 Cr (3.8% margin), with margins pressured by EXIM challenges but forecast to improve.

Major wins include a INR1,089 Cr rail supply deal with Vedanta and INR170 Cr from Hindustan Zinc. Domestic growth was driven by specialized containers, expanded rail services, and new tanker projects.

Management is investing in technology and AI, with capex of INR70 Cr in FY25 and INR100 Cr planned for FY26 to support demand. Focus remains on asset utilization, supply chain efficiency, and normalizing working capital.

Outlook is cautious on EXIM trade but optimistic on domestic growth supported by infrastructure projects, expecting steady margin and volume gains in FY26.
