ONGC-led JV with Hardy Exploration & Production and Invenire Petrodyne has restarted production at the PY-3 offshore field in the Cauvery Basin after 14 years. Phase I redevelopment, including subsea well activation and FPSO hookup, is complete. Phase II will focus on drilling more wells and using enhanced oil recovery to increase light, sweet crude output. ONGC holds a 50.63% stake, underscoring the JV’s push to boost India’s energy security and upstream production capacity.
