Insecticides (India) Limited has announced a board meeting to discuss the financial results for the quarter and half-year. The company launched Altair, a patented pre-emergent herbicide for paddy developed with Nissan Chemical (Japan), offering broad-spectrum weed control and 40–50 days of crop protection. Altair addresses major challenges for Indian paddy farmers and showed strong results in large field trials. IIL’s FY24 revenue grew 9% YoY to ₹1966 Cr, reinforcing its leadership in crop protection.
