20 Microns posted Q4 revenue of ₹2,274 Mn, up 7.1% YoY and 5.9% QoQ. EBITDA increased 10.4% QoQ to ₹290 Mn, with margins rising to 12.7% from 12.2%, despite raw material cost pressures. FY25 revenue reached ₹9,128 Mn, up 17.4% YoY, while EBITDA margin slightly declined to 12.8% (from 13.5% last year). The balance sheet remains healthy with a current ratio near 1.7 and ROCE at 18.2%.

2. Strategic Initiatives & Growth Drivers:

A ₹100 Cr capex is underway over the next 15-18 months to expand Malaysian mining operations and boost capacities in calcium carbonate, talc, and kaolin. New ultrafine calcium carbonate capacity at Makrana is now active. R&D focuses on functional additives and nano-calcium carbonate for adhesives, sealants, petrochemical, and cosmetic applications. Export growth is targeted, especially in Latin America and Southeast Asia, with a strategic shift towards plastics and rubber sectors aiming for better margins.

3. Business Developments:

20 Microns commercialized new mineral substitutes for the tyre industry and introduced hygienic calcium carbonate for personal care. Acquisitions of GTLQ and IQ Marbles in Malaysia enhance raw material sourcing. The NanoMinerals R&D unit secured DSIR recognition, enabling tax benefits and collaboration opportunities. New QC labs and administrative offices were set up in Rajasthan to bolster quality control and operations.

4. Market Position & Competitive Advantage:

India’s leading micronized minerals producer, 20 Microns benefits from technological expertise, a broad product range, and a presence in 65+ countries. Collaborations with German firms and joint ventures boost international reach and innovation. Nearly half the revenue comes from paints, providing steady cash flow, while growth in niche, value-added products strengthens differentiation.

5. Investor Implications:

Strong top-line growth and margin revival signal positive growth potential. Expansion into specialty, higher-margin products and strategic acquisitions reduce supply risks. Key factors to watch include raw material inflation and capex execution for sustaining margin gains. Export diversification and focus on niche industrial segments support stable earnings growth prospects.
