Akums Drugs and Pharmaceuticals Limited — Board Meeting, 26-05-2025: Outcome of Board Meeting

Akums has announced a board meeting on 26th May 2025 approving the audited consolidated financial results for FY25. The group posted revenue of ₹4,182 Cr with a strong PBT of ₹345 Cr and net profit of ₹344 Cr, bouncing back from last year’s loss. Growth in the CDMO segment and better efficiencies drove performance. After raising ₹637 Cr through its August 2024 IPO, funds were mainly used for debt reduction and acquisitions. CEO of the CDMO business, Amrut Medhekar, will step down by July 15, 2025. The group also expanded internationally by setting up Akums Healthcare UK Limited.
