Organic Recycling Systems Ltd has announced a pilot-scale SEED/Culture-based biomethanation plant launch at its Solapur facility in collaboration with SSS-NIBE. This plant will test the THERMI-NIBE microbial consortium using diverse organic feedstocks like Napier grass and agricultural residues to boost biogas production and validate scalable compressed biogas (CBG) technology. The initiative upgrades the Solapur plant into a national hub for advanced bioenergy innovation, supporting India's transition to clean energy and circular economy goals. ORSL is also scaling up Napier grass cultivation locally to ensure steady feedstock supply.
