1. Financial Highlights:

Juniper Hotels reported consolidated total income of ₹976 Cr for FY25, up 18% YoY, with Q4 revenue hitting a record ₹287 Cr (+16% YoY). Quarterly EBITDA surged 34% YoY to ₹126 Cr, lifting margins to 44% from 38%. Full-year profit before tax reached ₹150 Cr, reflecting strong operational efficiency. Revenue mix was led by Rooms (49%), F&B and MICE (30%), Serviced Apartments (11%), and Lease Rentals (4%). F&B and MICE revenues grew 16% YoY to ₹287 Cr. Average room rates improved 12% YoY, supported by robust occupancy across key properties. Balance sheet improved with bank borrowings at ₹776 Cr (vs ₹159 Cr prior year), and net debt/equity at 0.3x. Working capital metrics also strengthened, with receivables turnover at 17x.

2. Strategic Initiatives & Growth Drivers:

The company plans a 115-key luxury Alila resort near Kaziranga National Park, targeting FY28 operations. It acquired a 220-key property near Bengaluru airport for ₹325 Cr, aiming to operationalize by FY26 and add 150-200 rooms. Mid-term goals include doubling room inventory by FY27 through organic growth and acquisitions, plus refurbishing the flagship Hyatt Regency Mumbai.

3. Business Developments:

Completion of the Chartered Hotels acquisition added 489 keys (Hyatt Raipur, Hyatt Regency Lucknow, Hyatt Place Hampi). A merger process is underway for two ROFO assets totaling ~737 keys by FY27—Hyatt Regency Mumbai (refurbishment ongoing) and Hyatt Regency Chennai (operational). Expansion of F&B outlets and MICE facilities is diversifying revenue streams.

4. Market Position & Competitive Advantage:

Juniper commands the largest share of Hyatt-operated keys in India across luxury and upscale segments, benefiting from scale in the MICE space (over 2.9 lakh sq. ft) and a diversified portfolio including serviced apartments and lease rentals. Flagship properties like Andaz Delhi and Hyatt Regency Lucknow demonstrate superior ARR and occupancy versus local markets.

5. Investor Implications:

Robust revenue and margin growth coupled with strategic asset additions indicate solid expansion potential. Improved balance sheet metrics reduce financial risk and support ongoing capex and acquisitions. Execution of large-scale expansions and ROFO asset integration remain key factors to watch. The company is well-positioned to capitalize on India’s premium hospitality demand recovery.
