Genus Paper & Boards Limited — Board Meeting, 28-05-2025: Outcome of Board Meeting

Genus Paper & Boards has announced a board meeting on the consolidated financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2025. Consolidated revenue rose 21% YoY to Rs. 865 Cr, with a modest profit after tax of Rs. 2.93 Cr for the year, bouncing back from a loss in the quarter. The paper division led growth, posting a profit of Rs. 43.7 Cr, offset by losses in the coke segment. High net finance costs at Rs. 38.4 Cr weighed on earnings. Strategic investments contributed Rs. 16.7 Cr to other comprehensive income. The board also appointed M/s. Gaurav Gupta & Associates as Secretarial Auditors for five years.
