Genus Paper & Boards has announced a board meeting on which it approved the financial results for the quarter and half-year. Consolidated revenue was Rs. 863.02 Cr, with a slim profit before tax of Rs. 2.90 Cr, weighed down by higher finance costs of Rs. 38.41 Cr. The paper segment remained profitable, generating Rs. 43.73 Cr, while losses came from the coke business. The company secured a clean audit opinion. It also appointed M/s. Gaurav Gupta & Associates as Secretarial Auditors for the next five years, pending shareholder approval.
