Kothari Sugars and Chemicals has announced a board meeting on audited financial results for the quarter and year ended March 31, 2025. Revenue dropped to Rs 310 Cr from Rs 503 Cr, hit by poor sugarcane availability caused by deficient rainfall and pest attacks. Profit before tax came in at Rs 16.77 Cr, boosted by an exceptional Rs 6.34 Cr power refund. Distillery and power segments delivered profits, offsetting losses from the sugar unit, which operated at reduced capacity due to raw material shortages.
