Bajaj Hindusthan Sugar has announced a board meeting on approval of the financial results for the quarter and half-year. Consolidated revenue stood at Rs 5,574.76 crore with a net loss of Rs 24.78 crore for the year. Standalone net profit was Rs 4.38 crore, but after factoring in contingent YTM on OCDs, significant losses emerged—Rs 695.22 crore standalone and Rs 724.38 crore consolidated. The company has defaulted on the first OCD installment and coupon interest, and a debt resolution plan is under lender review. Management is optimistic about recovery through lower finance costs, improved cane supply, and ethanol diversification.
