Bata India has announced a board meeting to consider the financial results for the quarter and half-year. The company reported standalone total income of Rs. 7877.70 million and a net profit after tax of Rs. 435.51 million. Consolidated total income stood at Rs. 7882.14 million with a net profit of Rs. 459.15 million. The year included an exceptional charge of Rs. 107.84 million for a voluntary retirement scheme and a gain of Rs. 1339.52 million from selling freehold industrial land. A final dividend of Rs. 9.00 per share is proposed.
