Kalyani Commercials has announced a board meeting on 29th May 2025 to approve the financial results for the quarter and half-year.

1) Revenue Performance:

Consolidated total income rose 39% YoY to ₹387.30 Cr, led primarily by the automobile segment contributing ₹380.71 Cr with strong volume growth. The ‘Other’ segment added ₹6.59 Cr.

2) Profitability and EPS:

Net profit stayed steady at ₹23.33 Cr versus ₹23.63 Cr last year, with EPS stable at ₹23.33. Profit before tax slightly increased to ₹33.60 Cr, supported by operational leverage despite cost pressures, sustaining profit margins.

3) Operational Costs:

Total expenses increased to ₹385.47 Cr mainly due to higher material costs (₹261.87 Cr vs ₹187.27 Cr) and employee benefits (₹5.67 Cr). Reduced depreciation reflects better asset utilization. Inventory changes point to improved working capital management.

4) Key Metrics:

Automobile segment profits improved to ₹8.17 Cr from ₹7.11 Cr. Finance costs rose but were controlled relative to revenue growth. EBITDA remained positive, supported by a segment asset base exceeding ₹475 Cr.

Assets increased to ₹769.11 Cr with liabilities rising to ₹569.68 Cr. Short-term borrowings more than doubled to ₹51.58 Cr, reflecting higher working capital needs. Operating cash flow turned negative at -₹24.93 Cr due to inventory and receivables build-up; however, financing activities added ₹23.66 Cr to liquidity.
