Eastern Treads Limited has announced a board meeting to consider the financial results for the quarter and half-year. Glenmark Pharmaceuticals is in advanced talks with global partners for a licensing deal on its cancer drug candidate ISB 2001, which has received fast-track and orphan drug designations from the FDA. This deal is expected to be transformative and overshadow other near-term activities. Glenmark is also preparing to manufacture semaglutide, a diabetes and weight-loss drug, for the Indian market following its upcoming patent expiry. Meanwhile, Glenmark’s clinical supply manufacturing in Switzerland will be shifted to global contract manufacturers to support increased production needs. Mapmygenome has entered the US market through the acquisition of Canadian company Microbiome Insights, gaining access to a CAP-accredited lab and expanding its AI-driven genomics and microbiome testing services internationally. Arvind plans a capex of approximately ₹475 Cr for FY26 to increase garment manufacturing capacity to 60 million units, leveraging the India-UK FTA to diversify markets beyond the US.
