Lloyds Metals and Energy is boosting its renewable energy portfolio by acquiring at least 26% stakes in Hexa Energy MH3 (wind) and Hexa Energy W2 (solar) for up to Rs. 10 Cr and Rs. 12 Cr, respectively, targeting lower energy costs through captive power. It also plans an additional Rs. 27 Cr investment in HR Godavari, a joint venture with Hinduja Renewables, to expand captive power use. A corporate guarantee of up to USD 30 million will support credit facilities for a step-down subsidiary SPV.
