IFB Agro Industries Limited — Important, 30-05-2025: Disclosure of material issue

IFB Agro Industries Limited has announced a board meeting to consider acquiring Cargill India’s entire commercial shrimp and freshwater fish feed business, including assets, contracts, licenses, employees, and two manufacturing plants in Andhra Pradesh.

The acquired business currently generates around Rs. 353.7 crore in turnover, with consistent growth over the last three years. This acquisition will significantly expand IFB Agro’s product range and manufacturing capacity in the aqua feed sector.

This move is expected to strengthen IFB Agro’s position in the fish and shrimp feed market, enabling higher revenue potential and better scale. The company plans to complete the deal by July 2025 and focus on integrating operations to realize synergies and enhance shareholder value.
