GKCL has announced a board meeting addressing key governance and strategic developments. The audited financial results for the fourth quarter and year could not be approved due to non-receipt of the audit report. The company plans to amend its Memorandum of Association to include lending against gold and vehicle loans, expanding its business scope. Saroj Gupta has been redesignated as Managing Director, succeeding Divya Malini Gupta, who resigned. Pradeep Kumar Misra joined as Executive Director cum CFO. New internal and secretarial auditors were appointed, and statutory auditors recommended for a five-year term, all subject to shareholder approval. The registered office will shift within Delhi. Board committees were reconstituted to reflect these changes.
