Apollo Hospitals Enterprise Limited — Important, 31-05-2025: Capacity addition

Apollo Hospitals is expanding its Bengaluru capacity by 700 beds in two phases: a 500-bed greenfield hospital in Sarjapur (project cost Rs 944 Cr) and acquisition plus upgrade of a 200-bed facility (~Rs 285 Cr). The acquired hospital will start services within 3-4 months, while the new hospital will be operational in 4 years. This move boosts Apollo’s presence in the growing Sarjapur area, increasing Bengaluru beds to 1,500, funded mainly through internal accruals.
