Eicher Motors has announced a board meeting on June 13 to discuss the financial results for the quarter and half-year. VE Commercial Vehicles’ May sales rose 8% YoY to 7,258 units, led by a 15.2% jump in domestic SCV/LMD trucks. HD trucks declined 8.1%, while LMD buses grew 9.5%. Exports surged 20.7%, boosted by a 520% increase in HD vehicle exports. Year-to-date volumes are up 16%, with LMD buses and exports showing strong growth of 31.5% and 24.6% respectively. Volvo Trucks sales fell 20.9% in May.
