Zydus Lifesciences Limited — Updates, 02-06-2025: Press Release

Zydus has announced a board meeting on the financial results for the quarter and half-year. The company received tentative USFDA approval for Rifaximin Tablets, 550 mg, used to treat IBS with diarrhea. With annual U.S. sales around USD 2673 million, this approval adds significant revenue potential. The tablets will be manufactured at Zydus’ Ahmedabad SEZ facility. Zydus now holds 427 USFDA approvals and 492 ANDA filings since FY 2003-04, enhancing its U.S. generics pipeline.
