Cosmo First has added a new BOPP packaging film line with a Rs 400+ Cr capex, increasing annual capacity by 81,200 MT and boosting total BOPP capacity by ~40% to 2,77,000 MT. The advanced technology line targets strong domestic demand and supports the specialty films segment, which has grown at a 10% CAGR over six years. Upcoming new specialty film launches aim to strengthen the packaging portfolio and improve cost efficiencies.
