Jindal Stainless Limited — JV/Acquisition, 02-06-2025: Acquisition

Jindal Stainless has announced a board meeting on acquiring a 33.64% stake in Oyster Green Hybrid One Pvt Ltd, which is developing a 282 MW wind-solar hybrid captive renewable energy project. The investment stands at ₹79.20 Cr (part of a total ₹132 Cr), aiming to secure around 700 million units of green power annually. This move will help Jindal Stainless cut power costs and fast-track its net zero carbon emissions target by 2050, with the project expected to go live by Q3 FY26.
