Torrent Power has announced a long-term LNG supply deal with BP Singapore for up to 0.41 MMTPA from 2027 to 2036. This will fuel its 2,730 MW gas power capacity and boost Torrent Gas’s City Gas Distribution network, enhancing energy reliability amid rising demand. The agreement secures competitively priced LNG, aligns with clean energy goals, and supports expanding natural gas usage. Torrent also aims to diversify its LNG sources through additional medium- and long-term procurement to serve growing customer needs.
