Paytm has announced a board meeting of its subsidiary Paytm Cloud Technologies Limited, which has incorporated a wholly owned step-down subsidiary, Paytm Singapore Pte. Ltd. The new entity will focus on expanding and distributing Paytm’s technology-driven merchant payments and financial services in Singapore. Paytm Cloud Technologies has invested SGD 2.5 lakh by subscribing to 25,000 shares at SGD 10 each. This step represents Paytm’s strategic move to grow its international presence and strengthen its foothold in Southeast Asia.
