NLC India has announced a board meeting to review the financial results for the quarter and half-year. The company formed a 74:26 JV with Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Limited, called NLC Rajasthan Power Limited, to develop lignite mines and a lignite-based thermal power plant. This strategic move expands NLCIL’s footprint into lignite mining and power generation, positioning it for enhanced operational capacity and growth potential in the thermal power sector.
