Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited — Important, 05-06-2025: Monthly Business Updates

Shyam Metalics has announced a board meeting on the financial results for the quarter and half-year. May sales showed a mixed trend: stainless steel volumes jumped 41% YoY with slightly lower prices, aluminium foil volumes rose 1% with a 10% price increase, and pellets volume surged 78% but realizations fell nearly 4%. Speciality alloys and carbon steel volumes grew 21% and 9% YoY respectively, but prices weakened. CR Coil/Sheets and HR tubes/pipes volumes declined sharply month-on-month, while sponge iron volumes were flat with weaker realizations. Pig iron saw modest volume gains with lower prices.
