RIR Power Electronics Ltd — Updates, 05-06-2025: Company Update

RIR Power Electronics has expanded the manufacturing and shipment of 1200V Silicon Carbide (SiC) diodes through a collaboration with Pro Asia Semiconductor Corporation, Taiwan. Leveraging technology acquired from Sicamore Semi, USA, and support from Vortex Semi and PASC, RIR now offers 1200V Schottky Barrier Diodes ranging from 2A to 60A, serving key markets in India, the USA, and Southeast Asia. This milestone advances RIR’s readiness for ramping up production at its proposed ₹618 Cr SiC fab in Odisha, enhancing its position in high-growth sectors like automotive, industrial, renewable energy, and defense, while boosting India’s semiconductor manufacturing capabilities.
