Hindustan Zinc Limited — Updates, 05-06-2025: Press Release

Hindustan Zinc has strengthened its water stewardship, becoming 3.32 times water positive, up from 2.41. The company aims to cut freshwater use by 50% by 2030 from 2020 levels and will fully switch to low-quality water for smelting. It maintains zero liquid discharge at Rajasthan operations and launched a 4,000 KLD ZLD plant at Rampura Agucha. Environmental efforts include planting 1.5 lakh saplings in 2025, reinforcing its position as a leader in green metal production.
