GAIL has announced a board meeting on the financial results for the quarter and half-year. The Dabhol LNG Terminal achieved its first LNG vessel discharge during monsoon after completing a key breakwater project, making it an all-weather port. This boosts vessel access and utilization at the terminal, which currently has 5.0 MMTPA regasification capacity. GAIL plans to expand capacity to 6.3 MMTPA within three years, targeting around 100 LNG cargoes annually to reinforce India’s energy security.
