Bharat Electronics Ltd (BEL) has announced a board meeting to discuss the financial results for the quarter and half-year. BEL signed an MoU with Tata Electronics to co-develop indigenous semiconductor solutions, focusing on fabrication, testing, and design of MCUs, SoCs, and MMICs. This partnership aims to enhance BEL’s electronics supply chain, boost domestic manufacturing, and support defence sector self-reliance, potentially reducing import dependence and improving product competitiveness.
