Kernex Microsystems, via its 70% stake in the Kernex-KEC consortium, has secured an Rs 182.81 Cr contract for Western Railways, Ahmedabad. The project covers deployment of KAVACH Version 4.0 (Train Collision Avoidance System) and communication infrastructure using UHF and OFC on the Palanpur-Samakhiyali-Gandhidham section. Execution is expected within 730 days from the letter of acceptance.
