GP Petroleums has announced a board meeting to approve acquiring a 50% stake in Amron Oil Resources Pvt. Ltd., forming a JV with West Coast Oils LLP. This strategic move targets expanding GP Petroleums’ presence in specialty and general bitumen sectors. Though Amron is currently non-operative, the acquisition could diversify GP Petroleums’ footprint in bitumen manufacturing and distribution. The total cash consideration for the stake is INR 10,000.
