SMVD Poly Pack Limited — Others, 09-06-2025: Shareholders meeting

SMVD Polypack Limited has announced a board meeting to approve key shareholder resolutions via postal ballot and remote e-voting. The company plans to sell a 1.67-acre fire-damaged land parcel in Kolkata valued at around Rs. 8.09 Cr, with insurance claims in progress; proceeds will support working capital or general business needs. It also intends to sell 2.6 lakh unquoted shares in an associate company for about Rs. 2.16 Cr and around 946 units of quoted mutual funds worth Rs. 24.97 lakh. The sale of associate shares to directors at arm’s length will end the associate relationship, enhancing liquidity and operational flexibility.
