Biocon Foundation launched BioWISE in partnership with NCBS and BeST Cluster to empower 25 women students from tier 2 and 3 Karnataka universities for careers in life sciences. The 3-6 month program includes internships, mentorship, lab visits, hands-on training, and soft skills development, aimed at increasing female participation and retention in STEM fields. Biocon Biologics provides funding and expertise, NCBS offers hosting and mentoring, while BeST handles program execution.
