Universal Cables Limited has announced the transfer of unclaimed dividends and related equity shares from the 2017-18 financial year, unpaid for seven years, to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF). Shareholders are encouraged to claim these dividends or shares before the transfer. Physical shareholders will receive confirmation letters as their original share certificates will be cancelled, while demat shares will be moved directly to the IEPF account. Future dividends on these shares will also be credited to the IEPF. Claims can be made later by submitting required documents to the IEPF authority.
